Maria Sharapova is a professional tennis player, and is one of the sport's star attractions. Sharapova was born in Nyagan, Russia, in 1987, and whilst having Belorussian roots and residing in the USA, still holds Russian citizenship. Sharapova has won two Grand Slam singles titles and is the reigning 2006 U.S. Open champion.
In April 2005, Sharapova was listed by People Magazine as being among the 50 most beautiful celebrities in the world and is probably the most famous of all hot Russian chicks. Anna Kournikova
Former tennis star, Anna Kournikova was born on 7th June 1981 in Moscow, Russia. She turned pro in October 1995, and in 1997, she reached the semi-final of Wimbledon on her debut there. Anna Kournikova won her first and only grand slam title in the doubles at the 1999 Australian Open.
Her heyday was the period up to and including 2000. After that she slumped to 70th in the world rankings and retired. Kournikova became famous for her short skirts on and off the court and being the first of tennis' hot Russian chicks. (answers.com)
Anastasia Zavorotnyuk
Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, already dubbed "the Russian James Bond", is hard at work filming a multi-million-pound blockbuster with the working title Krasivaya ("The Beautiful One"). In the film Anastasia plays a glamorous Kalashnikov-toting Russian spy who saves the world in a figure-hugging latex suit.
Best known in Russia for her role in a popular TV series in which she plays a nanny, Zavorotnyuk underwent two months of
gruelling training in combat skills before filming.With the film's release in late 2006 Anastasia looks set to become the
latest in a long line of famous hot Russian chicks.
